Responding to the Needs of the Community

needsofcommunityFrontline Resources goes “behind the Bamboo Curtain” not only to share the Word of God, but also to address basic needs. In this picture, some of the community shows off their new Hygiene kits provided by Frontline supporters.

Helping with such needs creates a conduit to share God’s love and Word in a closed country. Indigenous church leaders share community concerns in turn creating projects that span from medical/dental outreach clinics, equipping people with specified skills, to livelihood projects that help create financial self-sufficiency. Through micro-loans, grants, and matching funds for example, matching funds helped build a chicken farm business and a chili farm. Micro loans have helped local people start businesses such as ice cream, handicraft, and fruit vendoring.
